The initiative aimed to strengthen leadership capacity among young officers by familiarising them with contemporary policing challenges, national priorities, and modern strategic frameworks.2. The event opened with a welcome address by Sh. Jatinder Singh Johar, IPS, Director Police Telecom, who summarised key outcomes of the national DGsP/IGsP Conference. He reaffirmed the mandate of enabling young officers to contribute meaningfully to policy discussions and highlighted how the seminar aligns with national policing priorities.3. Addressing the gathering as Chief Guest, DGP J&K, Shri Nalin Prabhat, IPS, reflected on the need for disciplined field conduct, professional weapon handling, and constant preparedness. He stressed that data-driven strategies, technological adoption, and high-quality training standards will fundamentally shape the next generation of police leadership, urging young officers to lead by example.12. The devices have been affixed in compliance with the Hon’ble court’s order to ensure the continuous monitoring and stringent surveillance on the movements of the accused persons.“A GPS tracker anklet is a wearable electronic device secured around the ankle, enabling real-time location tracking and ensuring strict adherence to bail conditions”.As per case details, a case FIR No. 18/2024 under Sections 61(1)/113/147/150 BNS was registered at Police Station Malhar and while granting the interim bail to the accused persons namely:-1. कच्चे तेल से बनते हैं कई प्रकार के ईंधन – पूरी जानकारीकच्चा तेल (Crude Oil) धरती के अंदर पाया जाने वाला एक प्राकृतिक पदार्थ है, जिससे कई प्रकार के ईंधन और उपयोगी वस्तुएँ बनाई जाती हैं। कच्चे तेल को रिफाइनरी में गर्म करके अलग-अलग तापमान पर अलग-अलग पदार्थ निकाले जाते हैं। इस प्रक्रिया को आसवन (Distillation) कहा जाता है।सबसे ऊपर कम तापमान पर हल्की गैसें निकलती हैं, जबकि नीचे की तरफ ज्यादा तापमान पर भारी तेल निकलता है।कच्चे तेल से बनने वाले मुख्य पदार्थ🔸 LPG (रसोई गैस) – लगभग 100°C के आसपासघर में खाना बनाने के लिए उपयोग होती है।🔸 पेट्रोल / कार और बाइक का ईंधन – लगभग 200–250°Cकार, बाइक और छोटे वाहनों में उपयोग होता है।🔸 केरोसिन / स्टोव और लाइट के लिए – लगभग 250–300°Cस्टोव, लैंप और कुछ मशीनों में उपयोग होता है।🔸 डीजल / बस और ट्रक के लिए – लगभग 300–350°Cबस, ट्रक, ट्रैक्टर और बड़े वाहनों में उपयोग होता है।🔸 लुब्रिकेटिंग ऑयलमशीनों को चलाने और घर्षण कम करने के लिए।🔸 हवाई जहाज़ का ईंधन (एविएशन फ्यूल)हवाई जहाज में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।🔸 पैराफिन वैक्समोमबत्ती, पॉलिश और कई उद्योगों में उपयोग।निष्कर्षएक ही कच्चे तेल से कई प्रकार के ईंधन और उपयोगी चीजें बनती हैं,इसलिए कच्चा तेल दुनिया की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण प्राकृतिक संपत्तियों में से एक है।✍️ दिनेश कुमार

Big News: Bird Hits Helicopter in Katra, Lands Safely #KatraA bird hit a chopper at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, but fortunately, a major tragedy was averted. While there were no casualties in this incident, a previous helicopter crash in 2015 killed seven people, including a female pilot. An investigation into the incident revealed that the helicopter had struck a bird, causing it to lose balance and crash.
*SSP JAMMU HELD CRIME/SECURITY REVIEW MEETING AT DPL JAMMU*Jammu ,05.03.2026🟣The Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Sh.Joginder Singh-JKPS on 05.03.2025 held a Crime/Security review at District Police Lines.The meeting was attended by all the Zonal SsP,all SDPO's,DySP DSB Jammu,DySP DAR Jammu,Sr Prosecuting officers of DPO Jammu,Incharge FSL unit DPL Jammu, all SHO’s as well as incharge Police Posts of Jammu District.🔵*During the session, SSP Jammu provided briefing on the current security scenario, emphasizing the need for heightened vigilance and alertness across all Areas of Responsibility (AOR).* He instructed officers to intensify surveillance, with particular focus on, Religious places, Critical installations, Identified hotspot area, Enhanced foot patrolling and deployment of Long Range and Short Range Patrols (LRPs/SRPs), Establishment of random /surprise nakas at strategic locations,effective area domination to prevent any disruption by anti-national, anti-social or mischievous elements.🟣During the meeting in addition to Crime review,various security measures were discussed for controlling crime & ensuring peace and stability in the District. Various aspects of policing including quality investigation of cases,time bound crime disposal, verifications, disposal of Property related & NDPS cases, completion of inquest proceedings,history sheeters ,absconders, missing persons and other issues related to accountable policing were also discussed.🔴Disposal of overall cases including registered under New Criminal Laws of each Police Station/Sub-division/Zone were discussed in detail including disposal within time limit period of 60 & 90 days.*SSP Jammu asked officers to ensure time bound completion of Investigation of cases to ensure speedy justice to the victims.*🟤*Progress on CCTNS front,e-Sakshaya,SID’s,e-summons was also taken up during meeting.*🔵SSP Jammu also asked the officers for improving, capacity building on all important aspects of Policing.🟠*Officers were asked for Mandatory utilisation of FSL services as per BNSS provisions is to be ensured without fail and progress achived and challenges faced on this front were discussed with all the stakeholders including incharge FSL unit DPL Jammu.*🟣*SSP Jammu also advised the police officers posted in the district in various capacities to provide a good policing with assurance of safety/security to the general public and adhering to all legal parameters give a tough time to anti-national and antisocial elements.*🟢SSP Jammu specifically mentioned that all drug peddlers should be identified & strict action need to be taken against them.
