*J&K Police Kathua Installs GPS Tracking Anklets to Monitor Movement of Accused who have been granted interim bail by the Hon’ble Court of Principal District & Session Judge Kathua.* Kathua: J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS* installed “GPS-enabled Tracking Anklets” to 03 accused persons who have been granted interim bail by the order of the Hon’ble Court of the Principal District & Sessions Judge Kathua, who were arrested in case FIR No. 18/2024 U/S 61(1)/113/147/150/BNS of PS Malhar. The devices have been affixed in compliance with the Hon’ble court’s order to ensure the continuous monitoring and stringent surveillance on the movements of the accused persons.“A GPS tracker anklet is a wearable electronic device secured around the ankle, enabling real-time location tracking and ensuring strict adherence to bail conditions”.As per case details, a case FIR No. 18/2024 under Sections 61(1)/113/147/150 BNS was registered at Police Station Malhar and while granting the interim bail to the accused persons namely:-1. Mool Raj S/o Uttam Chand R/o Malhar.2. Layiket Ali S/o Gammi R/o Village Dhanu Parole Tehsil Billawar.3. Maqbool S/o Mohd Lateif R/o Soffain Ambnal Tehsil & District Kathua. The Hon’ble Court had directed to install the GPS Tracking Anklets in order to monitor as well as to notice the activities of the accused persons.
