Key discussions included boosting anti-drug efforts, tightening surveillance on OGWs, enhancing intelligence gathering, strengthening cybercrime response and ensuring speedy action in gender-related offences.Officers shared updates from their jurisdictions regarding case disposal and operational challenges.SSP Udhampur issued clear directions on zero tolerance for crime, prompt grievance redressal, enhanced night patrolling, use of technology for crime detection and firm action against habitual offenders. He also emphasized professionalism, discipline and accountability.He further reiterated Udhampur Police’s unwavering drive to achieve a Drug-Free Udhampur, urging officers to intensify anti-narcotics enforcement and community outreach to curb drug abuse.The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to making Udhampur safer through proactive policing and a stronger police-public partnership.
